I installed good old Spectrasonics Trilogy on my PC with windows 7 64bit. While trying to authozire it, I pasted the Response code from the keygen (by Arctic), clicked Authorize (I got info 'Trology is authorized'), then clicked OK (again got info 'Trilogy is authorized') but after pressing OK I get an Error info: 'Could not find an authorisation. Please contact your reseller of Plugsound for further information'. After pressing OK, Trilogy interface appears and in the presets box it says 'No Presets' (and there is no sound) How to authorize it? I need Trilogy to be able to work on my old projects I have the same problem with authorizing Spectrasonics Atmosphere. Did you actually try running the daw as administrator? What artic wrote in the info 11 years ago was correct for XP, for Win 7 microsoft changed the access permissions on certain folders and some other parts of the operating system so that you need to be running as an administrator to write to these places.
I would also suggest that you think about getting the updated Omnisphere and Trillian. Trillian contains all of Trilogy and i believe that Omnisphere has all of Atmosphere in it as well. Also you can access Trillian from Omnisphere and use all the filters there as well. I installed the 1.2 update before authorizing, opened trilogy copied the auth key from trilogy into the keygen, generated a response key and then copied that back into trilogy, its working. I did not have to run as admin, but this may help sometimes.
Also you may need to run it through jBridger to get it to work in your DAW (64bit mode). As Willum stated, authorizing spectrasonics stuff can be a bit hit or miss at times, just keep trying and it will work (uninstall / remove any reg info / folders / reinstall / etc). You just need to install both libraries and it will be available in either Trillian or Omnisphere. Also make sure to install the VIP Library when you install both, it will give you some extra sounds. The benefits of having it in Omnisphere is that this VST is a much more capable product offering many features not found in Trillian.
